National Law University Delhi (NLUD) has changed the dates for Advanced Course in Criminal Law, now it will be conducted between May 2 to May 7, 2022.

After getting multiple requests from participants National Law University Delhi (NLUD) has changed the dates for Advanced Course in Criminal Law and decided to conduct it from May 2 to May 7, 2022. Earlier the course was scheduled between April 11 to April 16, 2022.

National Law University Delhi tweet reads, "Fresh Dates Alert! Upon multiple requests from participants, NLUD’s Advanced Course in Criminal Law will now be conducted between 2-7 May, '22. The course is open for criminal law teachers from India & South Asia."

The participants of this course are criminal law teachers from India and South Asia. The course fee with accommodation is INR 10,000 and without accommodation, it is INR 6,000. The accommodation will be given in the NLU Delhi guest house.

To apply, one needs to visit https://pages.razorpay.com/pl_J7jBeWz7UXxIWE/view and enter the name, email, mobile number and address and pay the course fee.

The course will consist of 24 sessions spread over 6 days and it will focus on select advanced inquiries like history & evolution, processual justice, criticalism, and punishment & sentencing. The core faculty includes Prof BB Pande, Distinguished Professor, NLUD & Prof Alan Norrie, School of Law, University of Warwick, UK.

NLUD appoints Anup Surendranath as SK Malik Chair Professor on Access to Justice

Recently, the university has appointed Dr Anup Surendranath as SK Malik Chair Professor on Access to Justice.

NLUD tweet says, "We are pleased to announce that @asurendranath has been appointed as the S.K. Malik Chair Professor on Access to Justice. 

The Chair has been established with a view to promote teaching, research & advocacy in the field of legal aid & access to justice."
