The National Law University Odisha and Cyber Law University are jointly offering an online certificate course on Cyber Law and Cyber Security.

NLUO, Cyber Law University offer Cyber Law and Cyber Security course

The National Law University Odisha (NLUO) and Cyber Law University have allianced to offer an online certificate course in Cyber Law and Cyber Security. The last date to apply is August 28, 2022, and the registration fee is INR 10,000.

”This course will cover a diversified arena connected to intellectual property rights, artificial intelligence law, blockchain technology etc. This programme has been conceptualized, designed and developed by Dr Pavan Duggal, Advocate, Supreme Court of India and the Honorary Chancellor, Cyberlaw University," reads the official notification.

The duration of the Cyber law certificate course will be 2 months and it will include recorded video lectures, live online classes and live doubt clearing sessions.

Anyone who has passed Class 12 from CBSE or possesses equivalent qualifications can apply for this online certificate course.

The official notification added, "All the candidates registering for the certificate courses are required to complete all the modules as well as submit a research paper online, which will be evaluated before he/she can get the certificate of the course."

Course Objective

As per the official notification, the following are the course objectives:

  • To provide a holistic view of the practical aspects of global Cyber Law and Security.
  • To impart knowledge about security breaches and frauds.
  • To teach about emerging trends in Cyber Law jurisprudence.
  • To help participants gain insights on the various provisions that countries around the world have in place for cyber crimes and other aspects of Cyber Law.
  • To provide a perspective on the legal ramifications of different activities on the World Wide Web.
