NMC invites applications from Pak persecuted minorities to grant permanent registration
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has invited applications from persecuted minorities from Pakistan to grant permanent registration to practice modern medicine in India.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice to invite online applications from the persecuted minorities from Pakistan who entered India on or before December 31, 2014, and obtained citizenship in India, for grant of permanent registration to practice modern medicine/allopathy in India.
The last date to submit the online application is September 5, 2022. The commission has clarified that offline applications shall not be considered.
Guidelines to submit online applications
The applicant must possess a valid medical qualification and have been practising medicine in Pakistan prior to his/her migration to India. All applicants are advised to strictly follow the instructions given for filling up the online application through the link provided on the NMC website.
NMC official notification reads, "All applications will be scrutinized by the Commission in consultation with the concerned agencies/departments."
The shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the examination to be conducted by NMC or any agency authorized by the NMC and applicants who qualify for the examination shall be eligible for a grant of permanent registration to practice modern medicine/allopathy in India.
NMC extends the application deadline for Legal Officers to August 26
The commission has also issued an office memorandum that stated the last date to receive the applications for hiring Legal officers in its headquarters and its four Autonomous Boards in New Delhi on a contractual basis has been extended to August 26, 2022.
