Odisha NEET 2021 Counselling: Round-2 schedule released; Registration from Feb 19
Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has released the schedule for Odisha NEET 2021 Counselling Round 2 and the registration begins on February 19.
The candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Odisha must note that the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has announced the Odisha NEET 2021 Counselling Round 2 schedule.
As per the schedule announced, the vacant seat matrix after Round 1 of counselling will be displayed on February 17 and the registration, online application and uploading of documents for online verification will start from February 19 at 10 AM and will continue till February 21, up to 11:59 PM.
Respond to query (if required, during online verification) can be done between February 19 to February 22, up to 5 PM.
Publication of provisional revised state merit list of registered candidates is scheduled for February 26 at 5 PM and publication of final revised state merit list of registered candidates will be done on February 28 at 5 PM.
Choice filling and locking can be done between March 1 to March 2 up to 11:59 PM.
The publication of second round allotment and downloading of allotment letter by allotted candidates is scheduled for March 5 at 5 PM. The selected candidates will be able to report to the allotted institutes between March 8 to March 11 up to 5 PM.
The candidates can withdraw from the admission process from March 6 to March 12 and spot round counselling guidelines and schedule shall be notified later as per OJEE notification.
Other significant points for Odisha NEET 2021 Counselling Round 2 candidates
1. NEET (UG) qualified candidates who did not previously register for OJEE counselling, are to register and upload their documents for online verification and then fill and lock choices.
2. Candidates who are already registered and in the merit list, but unallotted in 1st round and candidates who were allotted seats in 1st round but not reported for admission, should not register again. But they have to fill and lock choices afresh, as their previously filled choices will be null and void.
3. Candidates, who after taking admission in the first round, have exercised the option of freeze or float, are not required to and thus shall not be given the option to do any additional choice filling for the second round. Candidates who have given βfreezeβ as an option, will retain their first-round allotments, while the allotments of the candidates who have given βfloatβ as their option may be upgraded or retained depending on their rank and the availability of seat as per choice.
4. The candidates who have taken admission in 1st or 2nd round of counselling (All India) are not eligible to participate in state Counselling. (As per MCI and Honβble Apex Court directives).
