Steps to apply for OTET 2022
The steps to apply for the OTET 2022 are provided below. The candidates must follow the steps to fill out the complete application form:

- Click on New Registration
- Fill in the name, mobile number, email id, password
- Login into the account through the mobile number and password
- Enter OTP sent on the registered mobile number and email id
- Fill out the application form
- Make payment for OTET 2022
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference
Eligibility Criteria for OTET 2022
Candidates applying for the OTET 20022 must go through the details of the eligibility criteria for OTET 2022. The eligibility for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is given below on the page:
OTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1
Candidates fulfilling any one of the below-mentioned parameters meet OTET 2022 eligibility criteria for Paper 1:
Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should possess a two-year diploma in Elementary Education (CT or DElEd).
Or, Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 45 per cent (40 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should possess a two-year diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
Or, Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should possess a four-year diploma in BElEd.
Or, Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should possess a two-year diploma in Special Education.
Or, Candidates should clear graduation in any stream. Also, candidates should possess a two-year diploma in Elementary Education/ Special Education.
OTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 2
Candidates fulfilling either of the below-mentioned parameters meet OTET 2022 eligibility criteria for Paper 2:
Candidates should clear graduation with at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) marks. Also, candidates should pass a one-year course in Bachelor in Education (BEd).
Or, Candidates should clear graduation with at least 45 per cent (40 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) marks. Also, candidates should pass a one-year BEd course in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
Or, Candidates should clear graduation with at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) marks. Also, candidates should pass a one-year course in B Ed (Special Education).
Or, Candidates should clear Class XII with at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC/ PwD candidates) aggregate marks. Also, candidates should pass a four-year BA Ed/ BSc Ed course.
