Quad Fellowship Programme 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attending QUAD Summit in Japan. Quad Fellowship programme launched recently aims at bring the best STEM students from four countries – USA, India, Australia and Japan on a common platform for collaborative and innovative development. With the launch of the initiative, PM Modi has encouraged Indian students to come forward and make the most of this initiative.
Expressing that the Quad Fellowship programme is for extraordinary brilliant minds to interact, PM Modi stated that he hopes Indian students from STEM or Science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics would apply for the program.
In a message to Indian students, the PM said, “I encourage our students to apply for the Quad Fellowship programme and join the next generation of STEM leaders and innovators building a better future for humanity.”
About Quad Fellowship Programme 2022
Quad Fellowship programme is an academic initiative aimed at bringing brilliant minds from QUAD countries – USA, India, Japan and Australia together. The programme would create a network of experts committed to advancing innovation & collaboration across sectors’. QUAD Fellowship programme would fund 100 brilliant students every year. 25 students from each of the four countries would get this scholarship.
Under QUAD Fellowship Programme, each student would get a $50,000 one-time financial award to cover the tuition and research fees and expenses. The fellows would also be eligible for up to $25,000 funding to cover other costs. The government is expected to release more information soon.
Quad Fellowship Programme 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Students who have graduated or would complete their graduation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) by August 2023 are eligible for Quad Fellowship Programme 2022. Candidates would be selected on the basis of their excellent academic records would be required. Students who have completed their Master are also eligible to apply for the programme.
