Minister of AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken significant steps for AYUSH development.

'The Ayurveda Project' program was conducted in alliance with the National Institute Of Ayurveda, Jaipur on Thursday morning. The event was attended by the Minister of AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal, celebrities and new age influencers.

Sarbananda Sonowal said during the event that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken significant steps for AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) development and also made yoga more popular in the world.

The Ministry of Ayush tweet reads, "On Thursday, during 'The Ayurveda Project' program, Union AYUSH Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal ji said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken significant steps for AYUSH and also made yoga more popular in the world."

He also appealed to the whole world that they must join this campaign and embrace and endorse AYUSH and make it more popular among the youngsters. He also appealed that they must include Y Break app in their lives. 

The AYUSH Minister added that the World Health Organization is going to become the Global Center for Traditional Medicine in India, which is considered a big step in this direction.

AYUSH has become more popular during the pandemic and AYUSH Ministry keeps releasing health tips based on natural products. Recently, it has released the recommendations for ‘Holistic Health and Well Being’ to deal with new variants of coronavirus. It includes various tips for mental and physical well being.
