RRB NTPC 2021 Exam: Railways reaches out to over two lakh aspirants through outreach programme

Indian Railways has begun their outreach programmes to connect with aspirants who had protested against the irregularities in RRB NTPC and RRB Group D exams. Through its outreach programmes, railways have reached out to over two lakh aspirants. A total of 1,40,440 concerns have been received through the google form released by railways. A total of 46,980 grievances were received via email. Around 9,861 camps were held across various zones by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), which included personal interaction/email and paper submissions.

The deadline to raise grievances to the high power committee against RRB NTPC and RRB Group D exams is February 16. After examining the grievances, the high power committee will submit its report by March 4.

Last month, protests erupted across UP and Bihar over the alleged irregularities in RRB Group D and RRB NTPC exams. The protestors burnt trains, squatted on the rail tracks at several places leading to the cancellation and diversion of several trains. In view of the protests, Railway Ministry had formed a high power committee to address the concerns of the students.

RRB NTPC result 2021 was announced on January 14. Students alleged that the selection process for CBT 2 was not fair. Candidates also opposed the decision of railways regarding holding RRB Group D exam in two stages.
