RRB Group D Application Form 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will be releasing the RRB Grade D 2025 application form next week on January 23 (Thursday). Candidates can get the RRB Grade D application link online at the official website. They must fill up the RRB Grade D 2025 application form by February 22, 2025, till 11.59 PM, further no extension will be given.
The application fee for RRB Group D 2025 is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250. Along with the RRB Grade D application form, a detailed notification will also be released. Through RRB Group D short notification, a total of approx 32,000 vacancies have been announced for the exam.
Who are eligible to fill RRB Group D Application Form 2025?
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have updated the eligibility criteria for candidates aspiring to apply for the RRB Group D exam. Below are the revised RRB Group D eligibility criteria for Level-1 posts.
- Nationality Criteria: A candidate must be one of the following: citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, intending to permanently settle, a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia), or Vietnam, to permanently settle in India.
- Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the RRB Group D exam, applicants must have completed at least 10th grade, possess an ITI qualification, or hold an equivalent certificate such as the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by the NCVT.
- RRB Group D Age Limit: As per the RRB Group D criteria, the age limit prescribed for Level 1 posts is 18 to 33 years. Relaxation in age limit is also given as per government rule.
The selection process of RRB Group D consists of a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and a medical examination. Candidates who pass the CBT will be invited to take the PET. Based on their performance in both the CBT and PET, candidates will then be called for document verification and a medical exam. Final selection is determined by the candidate's performance in the CBT, provided they successfully qualify for the PET, document verification, and medical exam. For the RRB Group D exam, the age of candidates should be between 18 and 36 years.
