Amid RRB NTPC 2021 result protests, Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on January 25 has issued a statement warning candidates of getting debarred from obtaining railway jobs. In the notice, RRBs have mentioned that those candidates found indulging in unlawful activities/vandalism protesting on railway tracks, disruption of train operations, damaging railway properties, etc. will be rendered unsuitable for railway jobs.

RRBs will examine the RRB NTPC protest videos with the help of specialist agencies and candidates found involved in any unlawful activities will be liable for police action as well as lifetime debarment from railway job. In the notice, RRBs have also clarified that the selection process of RRB NTPC was transparent and fair. RRBs have also advised aspirants not to get misguided or come under the influence of such elements who are trying to use them for their own selfish ends.

The alleged discrepancies in RRB NTPC results have triggered online and physical protests. The notice was issued by the RRBs amid the rising protests in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. In Bihar, the Muzaffarpur Railway Junction was blocked and even the train services at Rajendra Nagar Terminal Station were hampered for almost five hours.  A passenger train was set on fire in Arrah district of Bihar allegedly by protestors against the irregularities in the RRB NTPC CBT 1 results. Candidates have been even raising their voices on social media against the alleged discrepancy in marks.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 2021 exam dates have been revised. The exam will be conducted from February 15 to 19.
