Amid the continued protests over the alleged discrepancies in RRB NTPC results, student unions call for Bihar bandh on Jan 28. Students are demanding to revise RRB NTPC CBT 1 results.

Amid the continued RRB NTPC 2021 result protests, the student union AISA and other youth organisations have called for Bihar bandh on January 28. Even after Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw formed a committee to look into the grievances of students related to the results and assured to re-examine the results, many students refused to bog down. They even termed the committee formed by the Railway Ministry as a ‘hoax’.

AISA General Secretary, MLA Sandeep Saurav and few students said that the review committee formed by the Railway Ministry is a conspiracy to postpone the matter of RRB NTPC result till the elections are conducted in Uttar Pradesh.

RRB NTPC and RRB Group D Exams Stayed

In view of the student protests, Railway Ministry has stayed RRB NTPC CBT 2 and RRB Group D CBT 1 exams. Earlier, RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam was scheduled to be conducted from February 15 to 19. The first phase of RRB Group D exam was scheduled to be conducted from February 23 onwards.

High Power Committee Formed by Ministry of Railways

With the aim of addressing the grievances related to RRB Group D and RRB NTPC exams, Ministry of Railways have formed a high-power committee with the seniors officials. The committee has been formed to look into the concerns and doubts raised by candidates in regard to RRB NTPC results 2021 for first stage CBT and introduction of CBT 2 in RRB Group D exam.

Union Railway Minister Assures Students to Address their Concerns

Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw has urged students not to take law in their hands and assured that their grievances and concerns will be addressed seriously.

Protests Continues in Several Parts

Students blocked the New Delhi-Kolkata main railway tracks. Some students protested in Bihar's Arrah and Sharif Railway station. Protesters also allegedly set a train on fire in Arrah and Gaya. Social media is trending with the hastags-#RRB_NTPC, #RRBGroupD, #no_cbt_2_in_group_d and #StudentProtest.
