54 students from Jamia Millia's coaching academy crack Civil Services Main

54 students of Jamil Millia Islamia (JMI) have cracked Civil Services (Main) written examination 2019. They were getting coaching and training from Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). These students will now sit for an interview that will take place in February. The UPSC Main result has been released based on the examination conducted by the commission from September 20 to 29, 2019. Moreover, 245 students were selected in Assistant Commandant (CAPF), IB, Assistant Commissioner (Provident Fund), Bank PO, Provincial Civil Services (as SDM and DSP), and RBI (Grade- B).

The Main results were released on Tuesday by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). UPSC holds civil services examination for selection to the Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and other Central Services (Group 'A' and Group 'B').

A few more worthy students who have made it to the interview will be admitted by JMI into RCA. Since its establishment in 2010, RCA has yielded 190 civil servants consisting of IPS, IFS, IAS, IRTS, and IRS, etc. by means of UPSC’s examinations. The university offers free classroom teaching, practice tests, accommodation, and library facility, etc. depending on the availability of the seats.

Last year also, 44 candidates made it to the UPSC examination including third rank holder Junaid Ahmad.
