CDS 1 Application Form 2025

CDS 2024 Application Form: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is accepting the online application form for the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) I exam 2025. Candidates who are yet to apply can fill out their CDS 1 application form online through the official website upsc.gov.in. The last date to fill up the CDS application form 2025 is December 31, 2024, by 6 PM. Once the CDS 1 application window closes, UPSC will provide the correction facility from January 1 to 7, 2025.

The CDS selection process 2025 includes of a written examination followed by the SSB Interview. For IMA, INA, and AFA, the written exam is divided into three sections: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics, with each section allotted two hours. For OTA, the exam comprises two sections: English and General Knowledge, also with a two-hour duration for each. The total marks for the IMA, INA, and AFA exams are 300, while the OTA exam is scored out of 200 marks.

Documents Required to fill CDS 1 Application Form 2025

Before filling CDS application form, candidates must keep the following documents ready:

• Photograph and Signature: The scanned images must be in the .jpg format and the file size must be between 20 to 300 KB
• Class 10 Certificate: Candidates must have their matriculation certificate ready. The details about the candidate's name, father's name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth should match exactly with the particulars mentioned in the matriculation certificate
• Details of Photo-Identity Proof: They should also have details of one photo ID such as an Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this photo ID will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online CDS application form

Step 1: Go to the official website: upsc.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on CDS I Application Link

Step 3: Now, click on ‘Apply Online’ tab followed by the ‘One Time Registration (OTR)

Step 4: Click on the new registration option and complete the process

Step 5: Now, log in using the generated credentials and select the exam name

Step 6: Fill out the CDS 2025 application form, upload the documents and pay the registration fee
