The level of AFCAT exam is moderate. The difficulty level of the General Awareness section is easy, Reasoning section is easy to moderate, English section is moderate and Quant section is moderate.

A few exam day guidelines for AFCAT 1 2023 exam are given below:

• Candidates must reach the exam centre 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam
• Candidates must carry valid photo ID proof along with AFCAT 2023 admit card 
• Candidates should not leave the AFCAT exam centre without permission from the invigilator
• Candidates must follow all the COVID-19 guidelines at the exam centre

For the Flying Branch, the AFCAT 1 age limit is 20 to 24 years as on January 1, 2024, i.e. candidates must have been born between January 2, 2000, to 01 January 2004 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between January 2, 1998 to January 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive). For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branch, the age limit of candidates is 20 to 26 years as on January 1, 2024, i.e. candidates must have born between January 2, 1998, to January 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive).
