AFCAT (I) 2020 AFSB interview dates and admit card will be released soon. AFSB Interview is conducted in two stages. 

AFCAT

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is expected to release Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview soon. The AFSB Interview was postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Post the declaration of AFCAT 1 result, the examination had activated the link to check AFSB interview details and download the admit card for a while, however, the link was removed later. The link to select AFSB exam centre, date and time and download the admit card will be made available on the official website.

For AFCAT entry, IAF prepares a list of candidate who obtains the minimum qualifying marks in the online exam. Candidates who are declared successful in the exam will be called at one of the Air Force Selection Boards. Candidates who have applied for NCC Special Entry will be directly called for AFSB testing at one of the centres.

The AFSB centres are at Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB) and Varanasi (4 AFSB). Candidates who opt for a flying branch can only opt for Dehradun, Mysore and Varanasi.

AFSB Interview comprises three stages. The stage I is Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test. Stage II is a Psychological test, Group Tests, Interview and document verification.

Candidates are required to carry the following documents while appearing for AFSB Interview.

  • AFCAT Admit Card
  • Original Matriculation/ Secondary School Certificate and Mark sheets issued by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Board
  • Original Marks Sheet & Certificate of 10+2
  • Original/ Provisional Graduation Degree/ Post Graduation Degree Certificates
  • Two attested photocopies of each document
  • Original NCC Certificate
  • NOC from employers for candidates working in Central/ State Govt. or Public Sector Undertakings
  • Original valid Commercial Pilots’ License, issued by DGCA, if applicable
  • Inbound Railway Ticket/ Bus Tickets
  • Twenty copies of recent passport-size photographs
