In the latest development, the Human Resource Development Group of CSIR approved the increase of NET/JRF Fellowship stipends for various CSIR NET fellowships/associateships. The Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a part of CSIR has announced the hike in CSIR NET Fellowship/Associateship Stipends for various fellowships. According to the official notification, The revised fellowships will be effective from January 1, 2023. CSIR-HRDG has approved a hike in stipends for JRF-NET, JRF-GATE, SPMF, SRF, postdoctoral research, and other fellowships. For the JRF candidates who qualify through the CSIR NET, the amount has been increased from INR 31,000 to 37,000 for the first two years and from 35,000 to 42,000 after two years.
