Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav has announced that RRB Group D and NTPC notifications will be released soon. The Railway Minister informed that the Railway Recruitments (RRB NTPC, RRB Group D, RRB ALP) will be conducted yearly so that the candidates get opportunities. RRB Group D recruitment is conducted to fill up vacancies for various Level-1 posts of 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
RRB NTPC recruitment is conducted to select candidates for various graduate and undergraduate posts such as select candidates for various posts such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master.

Eligibility Criteria
The age limit to apply for RRB Group D exam is 18 to 33 years. Candidates can apply for the exam after completing Class 10. Candidates applying to the technical departments-Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, and Signal & Telecom departments) and catering wing of Railways must be a Class 10 pass and have National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council for Vocational Training or Class 10 pass plus ITI.
RRB NTPC age limit for undergraduate posts is between 18 and 30 years. The age limit prescribed for graduate posts is 18 to 33 years. The educational qualification prescribed for undergraduate posts is Class 12 pass. The educational qualification prescribed for the graduate posts is graduation.
Selection Process
RRB NTPC selection process comprises various stages such as first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), second stage CBT, typing skill test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (conducted as per posts), and document verification/medical examination.
The selection process of RRB Group D comprises Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification and Medical Exam. CCAAs trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in NCVT for preparation of the final merit list. They are also exempted from PET/PST.
