Candidates Demanding UP Police Re-Exam on Social Media; Protests Erupted Against UPPRPB

Candidates are demanding the UP Police exam cancellation and organise the UP Police Re-Exam as the UP Police paper conducted on February 17 & 18 was leaked before the exam. Protests have erupted in different parts of UP in support of the UP Police Re-Exam and nab the culprits. UP Police Bharti 2024 was conducted by the UPPRPB on February 17 & 18.

Candidates Demanding the UP Police Exam Cancellation & Conduct the UP Police Re-Exam

The UP Police Bharti 2024 Exam was conducted by the UPPRPB on February 17 & 18, 2024, in different shifts. There are claims on social media that the paper for the UP Police Constable Recruitment has been leaked. Some screenshots and photos of the paper are being circulated on social media, alleging that the paper for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam held in the second shift on February 17 was leaked before the exam. Social media users claimed that the paper for the second shift is going viral along with the answer key on 'X'.

UP Police Re-Exam 2024: Committee Formed

UPPRPB Chairman Renuka Mishra while talking to the media said that UPPRPB has formed an internal committee in order to enquire about all the allegations of paper leaks and viral question papers on social media. 

The committee will be headed by Additional Director General (ADG) rank officer Ashok Kumar Singh. According to the chairperson, further action will be taken based on the committee's findings. The committee will be responsible for assessing the recruitment process and making improvements if necessary. It will also try to verify any unverified claims made on social media after the examination. The chairperson confirmed that the committee is a part of the Board.

UP Police Paper Leak News

UPPRPB wrote on social media, “Preliminary investigation found that miscreants are using Telegram’s edit facility to cheat and spread misconceptions about paper leaks on social media. Board and UP Police monitoring these incidents and thoroughly investigating their sources. The examination is continuing safely and smoothly.” Refer to the official statement of UPPRPB below.

In another post, the UPPRPB also said that it maintains transparency in all the exams it conducts. “The Board is always committed to maintaining the transparency and integrity of each of its examinations. After the successful completion of the examination at a large level, the unverified news being trended will be thoroughly verified by the Board with the help of UP Police.
