CSIR NET June 2024 Exam Postponed; New Exam Schedule Soon by NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the postponement of the CSIR NET June 2024 exam on June 21, 2024. The NTA cited unforeseen circumstances and logistical challenges as reasons for the postponement. A revised schedule for the CSIR NET Exam will be published shortly on the official website. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the postponement of CSIR NET June 2024 exam on June 21, 2024. According to the NTA, the CSIR NET Exam was postponed due to unavoidable circumstances and logistical issues. CSIR NET Revised Exam Schedule will soon be announced by the NTA on the official website. Earlier, the CSIR NET 2024 exam was scheduled to be conducted on June 25, 26 & 27, 2024. 

There are five papers in the CSIR NET 2024 Exam – Mathematical Science, Life Science, Chemical Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. Candidates clearing the CSIR NET exam can become lecturers in the subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology only.

CSIR NET 2024 Exam Postponed

The NTA has announced the postponement of the CSIR NET June 2024 exam on June 21, 2024, citing unavoidable circumstances and logistical issues. The revised exam schedule will be soon released on the official website. Previously, the CSIR NET 2024 exam was scheduled to take place on June 25, 26, & 27, 2024. 

“The candidates are hereby informed that the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024 which was scheduled to be held between June 25 to 27, 2024 is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues,” the NTA said.

The CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2024 will be issued according to the updated schedule. The revised dates for the exam will be notified at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

After the cancellation of the UGC NET, many universities, professors, and student groups have expressed concerns about delayed PhD admissions and the disruption of the academic cycle. In response, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to offer admission to PhD programs based on NET scores.
