CTET 2020 will be conducted on July 5. The number of CTET exam centres will be increased. Also, social distancing norms will be followed as precautions against COVID-19 pandemic.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 5 at about 112 cities across India. As per media reports, CBSE Chairman, Manoj Ahuja has confirmed that there will be an increased number CTET exam centres 2020. Almost every district of a state will have a test centre so that candidates do not have to travel far to give the exam. Apart from this, all the guidelines related to social distancing will be followed during the conduct of the exam.

Latest Update: CTET 2020 exam postponed; admit card not to be released this week

Regarding the postponement of the CTET 2020 exam, the CBSE Chairman has said that no decision in this regard has been taken yet.

Precautions to be taken at CTET Test Centre 2020

Check out some of the precautionary measures that will be taken at CTET exam centres:

  • Masks: All candidates mandatorily will have to wear masks
  • Sanitisation: All the CTET test centres will be sanitized completely before the conduct of the exam
  • Admit card: Candidates will have to carry their CTET admit card along with pen, pencil etc. in a transparent bag
  • Sanitiser: Sanitisers will be kept at all the test centres, which candidates will have to apply before entering the premises
  • Number of candidates: In order to ensure social distancing is followed, there will be about 12 to 20 candidates in one classroom
