CTET 2020: Over 30 lakh candidates applied for exam
Over 30 lakh candidates have applied for CTET July 2020 exam. Check details below.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 5. Over 30 lakh candidates have applied for CTET exam, as per media reports. This number is more than the CTET applications received for December 2019 exam despite the fact that the application fee was increased in 2020.

For December 2019 exam, total 28.32 lakh candidates had applied for the CTET exam. At that time, CTET application fee was Rs 700 (for one paper for General category) and Rs 350 (for one paper for reserved category). In 2020, CBSE increased the application fee to Rs 1,000 (for one paper for General category) and Rs 500 (for one paper for reserved category). CTET 2020 application fee for candidates applying for both the papers remained the same as previous year.

The CTET application form submission process 2020 ended on March 9. Currently, the CTET 2020 application form correction window is open for candidates. Candidates make changes in their application form (if required) latest by March 26.
The CTET exam will be held on July 5 in two shifts – 9:30 AM-12:00 Noon and 2:00-4:30 PM. Check the complete CTET 2020 time schedule below:
