Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to release the admit card for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 exam on August 18, 2023, as per the official notice. The CTET admit card 2023 will be released on the official website- ctet.nic.in. Candidates who will be appearing for the exam need to download the admit cards to know the CTET exam schedule 2023.

The CTET 2023 is the 17th edition of the exam that will be conducted by the CBSE on August 20, 2023 (Sunday). Only six days are left for the CTET examination. Candidates should brush up on their exam preparations now to score high in the exam.

Key changes in CTET 2023

The CBSE released the CTET notification 2023 on April 27, 2023. The notification clearly stated that the CTET exam will be held online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode in various shifts. However, later an official notice dated June 9, 2023, notified that the CTET examination will be conducted offline. Have a look at the key changes in the CTET 2023 exam mode and pattern below:

  • CTET Exam Pattern 2023 (Mode): The CTET exam pattern 2023 has been slightly altered. The CTET 2023 exam mode or the way of conducting the exam has been changed. The 17th edition of the CTET exam will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode instead of the CBT mode. Earlier in 2021 and 2022, the exam was held online.
  • CTET Exam Schedule/ Shift Timings: The CTET exam 2023 will be organized by the CBSE on a single day on August 20, 2023. The exam will be held in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Previously in 2021 and 2022, the exam was conducted on multiple days and shifts.
