The CTET answer key is released in two phases- Provisional and Final. The CTET provisional answer key is released soon after the conduct of the examination along with the attempted question paper. The CTET final answer key is released after the analysis of objections. The decision of subject experts on the challenges is considered final and no further communication is entertained. CTET OMR Sheet 2026, Calculation Sheet
The CTET OMR sheet 2026 will be released by the CBSE after the declaration of results. Candidates who want to get their CTET calculation sheet along with the OMR sheet need to apply by paying a fee of INR 500. The prescribed fee needs to be paid through a Bank Draft in favour of the Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi/ New Delhi. The Calculation Sheet with a copy of the OMR Sheet will be provided to the candidate by speed post only.
The Calculation Sheet will be provided upon the candidate's request after the declaration of results.

The CTET result is not released based on the provisional answer key. The CTET final answer key is the basis for result declaration. The CBSE announced the result based on the final corrected answers given by subject matter experts after analyzing the objections.
The CTET 2026 exam date has been announced by the CBSE. The CTET exam will be held on February 7 & 8, 2026 offline in pen and paper mode. The exam is conducted on a single day in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Qualifying CTET exam does not guarantee a job to a candidate. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for teacher appointment. The CTET exam is valid for life time. Earlier, the CTET eligibility Certificate was valid for a period of seven years starting from the date of declaration of result. However, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and CBSE officially extended the CTET passing Certificate validity to lifetime. Candidates need to fulfil the age limit criteria fixed by the respective teacher recruiting body such as NVS, KVS or others. Therefore, candidates can apply for the teaching jobs after qualifying the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET however, they must fall within the age limit defined by the respective agency.
The CTET question paper contains multiple choice questions- MCQs. There are 150 questions in the exam. The paper carries 150 marks. Candidates need to mark the answers on the OMR Sheet.
