India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: The India Post has released the merit list for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment 2024 for different circles. Candidates can check the India Post GDS merit list 2024 online at the official website: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The India Post GDS 2024 merit list has been released for 12 postal circles, including Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
The India Post GDS results of other circles such as Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, HP, J&K, Jharkhand, MP, North East, Rajasthan, UP, and Uttrakhand, will be released shortly. The India Post GDS merit list has been released based on the marks secured in class 10th. Those shortlisted will have to be eligible for document verification. The India Post GDS recruitment is being held to fill 44,228 vacancies across 23 postal circles in India.
How to check the India Post GDS 2024 Merit List?
The Dak Sevak merit lists of India Post have been released only for 12 circles. Candidates who have registered can check the steps provided below to know the India Post GDS merit list:
Step 1: Go to the official website: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the link for the “GDS Online Engagement Schedule, July-2024: List-I of Shortlisted Candidates.”
Step 3: Now, click on the respective state circle
Step 4: Now, select the district and India GDS list will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download and take a printout of it for future references

What after the release of India Post GDS 2024 Merit List?
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the first India merit list need to get their documents verified through the Divisional Heads on or before September 3, 2024. They have to report for verification along with originals and two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the relevant documents. They have to present their original documents, such as proof of date of birth, matriculation mark sheet, identity proof, and any applicable certificates (e.g., caste, disability, or EWS certificates).
