Ministry of Railways decided to fill a total of 2,98,973 vacancies for Group D and C posts. This information was shared by the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in Rajya Sabha in response to a question from MP Pramod Tiwari. The Ministry of Railways has sought vacancies from all 21 RRBs across the country. The preparations to fill these vacancies for Group D and C posts are underway. The Indian Railways will conduct recruitment for more than 2 lakh posts this year wherein maximum vacancies will be done on Group C and D posts. There are more than 10,000 vacancies in every zone except the East, South East and South West zones.
Besides this, the recruitment to the post of Group A and B is likely to start soon. The recruitment for Group A and B will be done by UPSC.
RRB Group D & RRB NTPC Recruitment Dates Announced
RRBs will soon begin with the recruitment process of RRB Group D and RRB NTPC. RRB Group D notification is expected to be released in October-December 2024. RRB NTPC notification 2024 will be released in July-September 2024.
RRB ALP 2024 Recruitment Process Underway
RRB ALP recruitment is underway to fill up a total of 9000 vacancies for Technician posts and 5696 vacancies for ALP posts. The computer-based test will be conducted between October and December 2024. The shortlist for document verification will be released in February 2025.
