RBI Assistant mains admit card will be released a few days after the declaration of the result. The mains admit card will be issued to all the qualified candidates for the prelims exam. 

The mains exam of RBI Assistant will be conducted in the following cities.

• There are also RBI Assistant negative markings for incorrect answers, 0.25 marks are deducted

RBI Assistant Mains cut off is calculated out of 200 marks. The Mainsexam is divided into five sections-Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. There are a total of 200 questions and the total marks of the test are 200. 

There are sectional RBI Assistant cut off marks for prelims and Mains exams. Candidates are required to secure both the sectional and overall cut off marks. The cut off marks are decided based on the difficulty level of exam, number of vacancies, total marks, etc. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are selected for the subsequent rounds of selection process. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam. Candidates not securing the prescribed cut off marks are not selected for the subsequent rounds of selection process. It is mandatory to secure the cut off marks in each section as well as in total as per the category.

 The mains exam of RBI Assistant carries 200 marks. Each section of the exam carries 40 marks.

The merit list of RBI Assistant is prepared based on the marks obtained in the mains exam provided candidates qualify Language Proficiency Test. The performance of the prelims exam is not counted for final selection. Only such candidates are called for Language Proficiency Test who stand sufficiently high in merit based on the marks obtained in the mains exam. The merit is decided by the bank in relation to the number of vacancies notified by the bank. It is important appear in LPT. No exemption is given to candidates appearing in LPT. Final selection depend on the performance in the online test, qualifying in LPT, medical fitness, verification of certificates, biometric data, etc. Biometric verification and LPT are qualifying in nature and is only based on the performance on the mains exam. SBI PO and RBI Assistant are the most sought after banking exams in the country. The participation of candidates is more in SBI PO than RBI Assistant. All candidates who get provisionally selected after clearing Preliminary and Main exams need to appear for a test of specified opted local language. Any candidate who fails to clear the test will be disqualified from the recruitment.
