RBI Grade B Phase 1 Admit Card 2023 Releases Soon Live Updates

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will soon release RBI Grade B Phase 1 admit card for the General post. The admit card will be released on the official website of RBI-rbi.org.in. RBI Grade B admit card will be issued to candidates who have applied for the exam. We will provide the direct RBI Grade B admit card link once it is activated by the examination authority. The admit card is an important document without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The hard copy of the RBI Grade B admit card will not be sent to candidates by post. Candidates need to carry the printed copy of their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. Candidates not carrying their admit cards will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam for the General post will be conducted on July 9. The Phase 1 exam for General post comprises four sections-General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the Phase 1 exam are 200.

RBI Grade B Exam Day Guidelines 2023

RBI Grade B exam day guidelines are given below:

  • The roll number, password, date, time and details of the exam centres are mentioned on the RBI Grade B admit card
  • Candidates should report to the exam centre early before the reporting time
  • Candidates should bring the admit card along with their recent passport-size photographs duly pasted on it
  • The photo-identity proofs that candidates can carry are PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving Licence/Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook/Identity Card issued by a recognised college/university/Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar Card/Employee ID/Bar Council Identity Card. Ratio Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof
  • Use of calculators, books, notebooks, written notes, pagers or any other electronic devices are not allowed during the exam
  • Candidates must bring a ball-point pen for RBI Grade B exam
  • Sheets for doing rough work will be provided at the exam centre
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any kind of electronic items inside the exam centre

    There is no qualifying marks in RBI Grade B exam. However, RBI decides section-wise and overall cut off marks for the exam. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I.     Selected candidates will get a starting basic pay of INR 55,200 in the pay scale of INR 55200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850 (2) - 86550-3300(4)-99750 (16 years) applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, House Rent Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) are INR 1,16,914 (approximately). The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Basic Pay will be paid, if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.

    RBI Grade B admit card 2023 is released online only. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. Candidates need to download their admit cards by logging with registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.

    How to answer questions in RBI Grade B exam?

    The process to attempt the online test of RBI Grade B is given below:

    • The question paper will be in English and Hindi
    • All questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five options, candidates need to select one correct answer
    • Click on the question number on the question palette to go a particular question directly
    • Click on ‘Save & Next’ to save answer
    • Click on ‘Mark for Review and Next’ to save answer to the current question. If an answer is selected for a question that is ‘Marked for Review’, the answer will be considered in the final evaluation.
    • To deselect a chosen answer, click on the chosen option again or click on the ‘Clear Response’ button
    • To change an answer to a question, first select the question and then click on the new answer option followed by a click on the ‘Save & Next’ button
    • Questions that are saved or marked for review after answering will only be considered for evaluation
    • Candidates will not be allowed to ‘Finally Submit’ unless they have exhausted the actual test time
    • Candidates are not allowed to use the ‘Keyboard’
