RBI Grade B 2021 cut off for Phase 1 exam is given below.

RBI Grade B cut off is applied on overall and sectional score. The overall cut off marks are calculated out of the total marks allotted to the exam. The overall cut off marks for the prelims exam are calculated out of 200 marks. The sectional cut off marks are calculated out of the total marks allotted to each section. Candidates are required to secure the sectional cut off marks in the prelims exam.

There is no qualifying marks in RBI Grade B exam. However, RBI decides section-wise and overall cut off marks for the exam. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I. The minimum aggregate cut-off marks for being shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.

RBI Grade B application form was released on May 9, 2023. RBI closed the window to fill RBI Grade B 2023 application form on June 16, 2023. Earlier, the last date to fill RBI Grade B application form 2023 was June 9, 2023. However, it was extended by the examination authority. Candidates could apply for pre-exam training till June 16 instead of June 9, 2023.

Yes, there is a limit in the number of attempts for RBI Grade B exam. Candidates belonging to General Category/EWSs, who have already appeared Six times for Phase-I Examination for this post/s in the past, are not eligible to apply. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD, if the posts are reserved for them.

RBI Grade B eligibility for General post is given below:

Graduation in any discipline /equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60 per cent marks (50 per cent for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation in any discipline/ equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 55 per cent marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years. 

Gradudate candidates should note that any technical or professional course from recognised university or institute that is taken after Class 12 and is at least of three years duration or those possessing professional or technical qualifications which are considered equivalent to professional or technical graduation are eligible to apply for the exam.

Postgraduate level candidates should note that any technical or professional course taken after graduation and is at least of two years duration or recognised by the Government as equivalent to professional or technical post-graduation will be eligible for the exam.

RBI Grade B age limit is 21 to 30 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than May 2, 1993 and not later than May 1, 2002. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved category.

Selected candidates will be governed by the 'Defined Contribution New Pension Scheme (NPS) which is mandatory for all employees joining the services of the Bank on or after January 01, 2012',
in addition to the benefit of Gratuity. At certain centres, limited number of residential quarters are available. Facility for securing residential accommodation on lease, however, exists at all centres. Initial appointment will be on probation for a period of two years. At Bank's discretion, the probationary period may be extended up to a maximum period of four years. There are reasonable prospects for promotion to higher grades. Selected candidates are liable to be posted and transferred anywhere in India.

Loans and Advances at concessional rates of interest for Housing, Vehicle, Education, Consumer Articles, Personal Computer, etc. 

Candidates selected from recruitment for the post of Officer in Gr. B (DR) GENERAL stream will join General Cadre and candidates selected from recruitment for the post of Grade B (DR) DEPR/DSIM stream will join DEPR/DSIM Cadre.

Selected candidates will get a starting basic pay of INR 55,200 in the pay scale of INR 55200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850 (2) - 86550-3300(4)-99750 (16 years) applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, House Rent Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) are INR 1,16,914 (approximately). The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Basic Pay will be paid, if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.

• All questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five options, candidates need to select one correct answer
• Click on the question number on the question palette to go a particular question directly
• Click on ‘Save & Next’ to save answer
• Click on ‘Mark for Review and Next’ to save answer to the current question. If an answer is selected for a question that is ‘Marked for Review’, the answer will be considered in the final evaluation.
• To deselect a chosen answer, click on the chosen option again or click on the ‘Clear Response’ button
• To change an answer to a question, first select the question and then click on the new answer option followed by a click on the ‘Save & Next’ button
• Questions that are saved or marked for review after answering will only be considered for evaluation
• Candidates will not be allowed to ‘Finally Submit’ unless they have exhausted the actual test time

The marks of the Phase 1 exam will be calculated based on the marking scheme. For correct answers in the exam, candidates score one marks. In case of wrong answers, 1/4 marks are deducted. The total marks are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers.
