RBI has released an important notice regarding RBI Grade B 2021 exam pattern for Phase-II General post. Now, candidates opting to type the answers in Paper-I (Economic and Social Issues) and Paper-III (Finance and Management) Descriptive paper in Hindi, may do with either Inscript or Remington (GAIL) keyboards layout.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released important notice regarding RBI Grade B 2021 exam pattern for Phase-II General post. According to the official notice, candidates opting to type the answers in Paper-I (Economic and Social Issues) and Paper-III (Finance and Management) Descriptive paper in Hindi, may do with either Inscript or Remington (GAIL) keyboards layout. The Descriptive answers are required to be typed with the help of the keyboard.

This year, RBI Grade B exam pattern 2021 has been revised for Paper-II. According to the revised pattern, Paper-I and III will have both objective and descriptive type questions. 50% of questions in these two papers will have objective-type questions and 50% of questions will be descriptive type questions. Earlier, these two papers carried only objective-type questions. Paper-II, as earlier, will carry only descriptive type questions of 100 marks.

According to the marking scheme of RBI Grade B, for both Paper-I and III, there will be 30 questions and 50 marks have been allotted to the objective-type questions. Some questions will carry two marks each and some of one mark each. In the case of a Descriptive paper, there will be six questions of which candidates are required to attempt four questions. Two questions will be of 15 marks and two of 10 marks each. If candidates answer more than four questions in descriptive, the first four will be evaluated.

There is also a change in the exam timings of Paper-I and III. The objective test will be held for 30 minutes while the descriptive paper will be conducted for 90 minutes. Therefore, the total exam duration of these papers is 120 minutes. Earlier, these papers were conducted for 90 minutes. 50 marks each are allotted to the objective and descriptive papers.

Candidates are required to appear for Psychometric Test before appearing in the interview. There are no marks for this test and it will not be considered for final selection. The interview will be conducted for 75 marks. Earlier, it was conducted for 50 marks.
