The RPSC RAS interviews 2020 was postponed by the commission without citing any reason. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) issued an official notice postponing the Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services (Rajasthan Administrative Services-RAS). The RPSC RAS 2018 interview was scheduled to be conducted from December 7 to January 13, 2021.

The RPSC issued the RAS 2018 interview on November 6 and the interview was scheduled to be conducted from December 7. The RPSC RAS interview was postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances. RPSC announced 1953 candidates eligible for the RPSC RAS interviews.
Earlier, the RPSC RAS interview 2018 admit card was released on November 24. Before that, because of the addition of the vacancy of district minority welfare officer in the RAS exam 2018, the commission reactivated the service preference form for the candidates to edit their service preference by accommodating the new services.

RAS 2018 interview schedule was released separately for different posts. After the RAS interviews, the RPSC RAS exam 2018 result will be declared and the selected candidates’ names will be forwarded to the department of personnel of the state government. The candidates are competing for the 437 State services and 577 subordinate services.
The commission was ready to conduct the RAS 2018 interviews from the scheduled date, as mentioned in the schedule. The RPSC RAS exam 2018 is delayed by more than a year now. First, there were administrative delays in conducting the exam and then came the COVID-19 pandemic, which delayed the exam by further 10 months.
