RPSC RAS Main Exam 2022 Postponed

RPSC RAS Main exam 2022 was postponed on February 23. The exam was scheduled to be started on February 25 across the state. The news came when the Chief Minister of the state, Ashok Gehlot, tweeted that the RAS main exam will not be postponed.

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) issued a notice today postponing the main exam. The commission did not mention any reason for such postponement of the exam. New dates for the exam were also not mentioned in the notice. The Commission will release the new RAS main exam dates later.

The notice mentioned that during the full commission’s meeting; it was decided to postpone the RAS main exam 2022 for a future date. Yesterday, Ashok Gehlot tweeted that postponing the exam will have financial and mental pressure on the candidates.

RPSC declared the prelims result on November 19, 2021, mentioning the roll number of over 20 thousand candidates making them eligible for the main exam. The main exam was scheduled for February 25 and 26. In the run-up to the event, the commission released the e-admit cards to the candidates on February 17.

The main exam will be conducted as per the new syllabus notified in the official notification released in July 2021 for 988 vacancies. There will be the following four papers in the RAS main exam as given below.

  1. General Studies-I 
  2. General Studies-II 
  3. General Studies-III
  4. General Studies-IV
