RRB ALP 2024: Students Raise Concern on Social Media Regarding Allocation of Test Cities
The RRB ALP exam is set for November 25 to 29, 2024, with the city intimation slip already released. However, candidates have raised concerns on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the allocation of exam centres.

RRB ALP 2024: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will be conducting the RRB ALP exam on November 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29, 2024 for CBT 1. Earlier, the RRB ALP 2024 city intimation slip so that candidates can get to know the names of the allotted exam cities. However, many candidates who will be appearing for the RRB ALP 2024 have taken to X (formerly Twitter) and raised their concerns regarding the allocation of exam centres.
They have requested a change of their RRB ALP 2024 exam centre to a nearby location for greater convenience in attending the exam. A candidate who applied for the RRB ALP exam in the Mumbai region has raised concerns about their exam centre being allocated in Telangana. He has requested assistance in changing the RRB ALP exam city, citing difficulty in travelling to another state for the exam.
Another candidate from the cyclone-affected area of Bhadrak, Odisha, has expressed concern about their RRB ALP examination center being located 400 km away in Andhra Pradesh. Given the aftermath of Cyclone Dana, the candidate is requesting a local exam center or travel assistance due to the challenging conditions in their region.

One of the students tweeted, "I have applied for RRB ALP examination for Mumbai region, but my exam city is from Telangana state, please help me to change my exam city... it'll be very difficult for me to travel to other state for this exam. Please help me."
Another student tweeted suggesting the possibility of a special train exclusively for RRB ALP candidates, as 18 lakh individuals are expected to appear for the exam over the next five days. Check his tweet below:

The CBT 1 exam of RRB ALP comprises questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. The test carries a total of 75 marks. The CBT 2 is divided into two parts-Part A and Part B. Part A of the second stage CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs. In Part B, Total 75 questions are asked in the exam. This part is qualifying in nature and comprises questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET).
