The salary of SBI clerks includes additional pay and allowances. In addition to their monthly salary, SBI clerks also receive the following benefits: 1. A bank contribution each month to their Provident Fund 2. SBI provides monthly fuel, entertainment, and newspaper grants to its clerks. 3. They have access to medical benefits like 100% reimbursement for self-treatment in hospitals. 4. SBI employees are eligible for loans with a reduced interest rate under the staff loan programme. 5. The SBI clerks also get the leave fare concession for their travel to their hometowns.

The newly recruited candidates are on probation for a maximum period of six months. During this period, they are required to complete e-lessons as prescribed by the bank to get confirmed. The probation period of candidates failing to do so is extended. Before completion of the probation period, the performance of candidates is evaluated.

The total starting emoluments given to the Junior Associates in the metro city such as Mumbai are around INR 29,000 per month, inclusive of DA and other allowances as per the current rate. The total training duration of an SBI Clerk is six months. The probationary period for SBI clerks begins with induction training at the State Bank Institute of Learning and Development. Later, trainees are assigned to their respective branches, where they undergo practical training for the banking process. This period lasts around five months, after which they work as junior associates in their respective branches. If associates are unable to successfully complete their training, their training period will be extended.

At present, the starting basic isINR 41,960 (with 4 advance increments). SBI PO pay scale is INR 36,000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. The post is of Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

The difficulty level of questions asked in SBI PO exam is usually moderate. Candidates can prepare for the exam by referring to the SBI PO exam pattern, syllabus, and previous years' question papers. While the Mains exam comprises both objective and subjective-type questions.

The age of candidates applying for SBI Clerk exam must be between 20 and 28 years. Any graduate candidates can apply for SBI Clerk exam.

SBI PO age limit is 21 and 30 years.
