SBI PO Recruitment 2023: The application process for 2000 PO positions has started today, September 7, 2023, and interested candidates can apply latest by September 27, 2023. Read here for detailed information on the openings.

The State Bank of India (SBI) announced the SBI PO Recruitment 2023 notification on September 6, 2023. SBI is offering a total of 2000 posts of Probationary Officer (PO). The application process has started today, and the candidates will be able to apply till September 27, 2023.

The preliminary examination for SBI PO Recruitment 2023 is scheduled for November 2023. It will be an online Objective Test for 100 marks. There will be 30 questions in English Language, 35 questions each in Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. 

Candidates will be able to download Preliminary Examination Call Letters from the second week of October. The call letter for the Preliminary Exam will not be collected at the examination venue. However, it will be duly Checked/ Authenticated/ Stamped by the exam centre staff. The candidate will need to retain the call letter (along with an authenticated/ stamped copy of ID proof) safely. Those candidates who are called for the Main Exam will be required to bring duly authenticated “Original Preliminary Exam Call Letter (with Authenticated Copy of ID Proof)” as well as “Main Exam Call Letter” and “Other Requisite Documents” as per information provided in the “Acquaint Yourself Booklet” and “Call Letter”. 

How to apply for SBI PO Recruitment 2023

Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank's ‘Career’ website https://bank.sbi/careers/current-openings. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.

The application fee of INR 750 needs to be paid by General/ EWS/ OBC candidates while filling out the application forms. The SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates are exempted from paying any application fees.

Request for change/ correction in any particulars (including category) in the application form, once the application is finally submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances. No correspondence/ phone/ email will be entertained in this regard. Candidates are advised to fill up the online application carefully and furnish the correct information in the application.
