SEBI Grade A notification 2023 released

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has released SEBI Grade A notification 2023 for recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager)-Legal stream. The application form of SEBI Grade A is available from June 22 to July 9, 2023. The Phase 1 online exam will be conducted on August 5, 2023. The Phase 2 online exam will be conducted on September 9, 2023. The selection process of SEBI Grade A comprises three stages. Phase 1 is held for screening the candidates for the mains exam. The exam comprises two papers of 100 marks each. The Phase 2 exam comprises two papers of 100 marks each. The Phase 3 comprises interview.

How to Apply for SEBI Grade A 2023 Exam?

Candidates need to fill SEBI Grade A 2023 exam online only. The application fee for Unreserved/OBC/EWS is INR 1000 whereas it is INR 100 for SC/ ST/ PwBD categories. The steps to fill SEBI Grade A application form are given below:

• Visit the official website of the SEBI-@sebi.gov.in.
• Click on the ‘Careers’ section mentioned on the homepage
• Search for the advertisement-‘SEBI Recruitment Exercise for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) - General Stream, Legal Stream, Information Technology Stream, Engineering Stream, Research Stream and Official Language Stream 2023”
• Click on ‘Online Application Link’ and a new page opens on the screen
• Click on New Registration and submit the required details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc. Then click on the register button
• Registration ID and password are generated
• Upload Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwriting declaration in the prescribed format
• After filling up the application form, candidates need to preview the application form
• Click on the ‘Final Submit’ button
• Candidates need to pay the application fee
• Take printout of the application form and fee transaction receipt

SEBI Grade A 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria prescribed for SEBI Grade A exam is given below:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute.

Experience: Two years post qualification experience as an Advocate (including as an associate in an Advocate’s or Solicitor’s Office or Law firm) after being enrolled under the Advocates Act, 1961 (25 of 1961) shall be a desirable qualification.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit of candidates is 30 years.
