SSC CGL 2020: Important notice issued for tier-III candidates to avoid UFM

SSC CGL tier-III 2020 exam will be held on November 22. Staff Selection Commission has issued an important notice to help candidates avoid getting zero marks in the paper due to SSC UFM rule.

Notice issued to SSC CGL tier-III 2020 candidates to avoid UFM

The SSC CGL tier-III 2019-20 exam is scheduled to be conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on November 22, 2020. Since it is a descriptive paper held in offline mode, the Commission has issued an important notice for SSC CGL tier-III candidates. In the notice, SSC has advised candidates to adhere strictly to the following instructions to avoid getting zero marks in the paper due to Unfair Means (UFM):

  • SSC CGL tier-III paper has to be written in either Hindi or English language. Candidates who will write the paper partly in Hindi or English will be awarded zero marks
  • All candidates must write their correct roll numbers at the prescribed places on the cover page of the SSC CGL answer book. Candidates must also affix photo and left hand thumb impression in the prescribed columns in the answer book. Candidates failing to write the roll number and affixing signature and left hand thumb impression will be awarded zero marks  
  • Candidates must not write any personal identity such as name, roll number, mobile number, address, etc. inside the answer book. Candidates who will provide any such information inside the SSC CGL answer book will be given zero marks.

SSC CGL Tier-III Exam Pattern 2020

The SSC CGL tier-III is a descriptive paper of 100 marks conducted in pen-and-paper mode. In the paper, candidates have to write either a precis, essay, letter or application in a duration of 60 minutes. Check complete SSC CGL exam pattern.
