SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 Exam
SSC CHSL stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level. Lakhs of candidates appear for this exam for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). The commission has rolled out the SSC CHSL Tier 1 admit cards for Tier 1 on the official regional websites. The SSC CHSL Exam for Tier 1 will be held from March 9 to March 21, 2023.

SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 Exam: Shift Timings
The commission will conduct the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam in three shifts from March 9 to March 21, 2023. Candidates must reach the examination hall before time or as prescribed. Candidates who will be late will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the reporting time. Every shift is of one hour duration. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam 2022-23 will be conducted in the CBT mode.

SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 Exam Analysis
The exam analysis is based on the candidate's input given to Shiksha.com after the first shift. What is SSC CHSL 2023 Cutoff?
SSC releases CHSL cutoffs for all the tiers every year on its official website along with the results. SSC CHSL cutoffs are minimum marks that candidates should score in order to qualify for the next level of exam. The cutoffs for SSC CHSL are calculated on the basis of the below-mentioned criteria:
Firstly, the CHSL cutoff for the Tier-I exam is decided based on marks scored by candidates in the paper. In the SSC CHSL tier-II paper, candidates need to score minimum 33 per cent marks in order to qualify it and get selected for the tier-III exam. The commission does not release cutoffs for the tier-III exam as it is qualifying in nature. Final cutoffs for all those candidates who clear the SSC CHSL tier-III exam are released based on the candidate’s performance in tier-I and -II papers.

What is the exam duration of the SSC CHSL 2022-23 Exam?
The SSC CHSL 2022-23 exam will be conducted in two tiers as per the revised exam pattern, that is, Tier I and Tier II. All four sections of the SSC CHSL 2022 Tier I exam will last 60 minutes for all candidates and 80 minutes for those who are eligible to scribe as per paragraphs 8.1 and 8.2. Further, the time duration in the SSC CHSL Tier II exam, as per the new exam pattern, will be two hours and fifteen minutes for Session I and for Session II, Section 3 (Module II), fifteen minutes for the skill test for DEO, and ten minutes for the typing test for LDC/ JSA.
