Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is holding the Tier 2 exam today, June 26, 2023, under the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2022. A total of 40,744 candidates have been shortlisted for the Tier 2 exam on the basis of their performance in the Tier 1 exam. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 admit cards were released region-wise from June 16, 2023, onwards.
The SSC CHSL 2023 exam seeks to fill a total of 4,522 vacancies to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Data Entry Operator (Grade A).

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2023
The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam comprises following sections:
Section I
- Module I: Mathematical Abilities
- Module II: reasoning and General Intelligence
Section II
- Module-I: English Language and Comprehension
- Module-II: General Awareness
Section-III
- Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test
- Module-II: Skill Test/ Typing Test
The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam consists of objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs), except for Module II of Section III. The SSC CHSL question paper 2023 for the Tier 2 exam will be set in English, Hindi and any language the candidate chooses in the application form, except for Module II (English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II.

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2023

- Candidates need to appear for the Tier 1 exam
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the Tier 2 exam on the basis of their performance in the Tier 1 exam.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Tier 2 exam.
- Based on the aggregate performance in Section-I and Section-II of Tier 2 exam, candidates will be shortlisted for evaluation of the Section III of Tier 2.
- Candidates who are not qualified in Section-I + Section-II will not be eligible for evaluation of Section-III and they will not be considered for further selection process.
- Section III of Tier 2 is qualifying in nature including Computer Knowledge Test and Skill Test/ Typing Test.

Two Sessions in SSC CHSL Tier 2
The SSC CHSL Tier 2 is conducted in two sessions- Session I and Session II. Both the sessions are held on the same day. Tier 2 Session I includes Section I, Section II and Module I of Section III and Session II includes Module II of Session III. It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify all sections of Tier II.
