SSC CPO Tier 2 Exam Date 2023 Announced; Check Details Here
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced SSC CPO Tier 2 exam date 2023. The Tier 2 exam will be conducted on December 22, 2023. The Paper 1 exam will be conducted from October 3 to 6, 2023. SSC CPO application process closed on August 15, 2023. The notification was released on July 22, 2023 to fill up a total of 1876 vacancies. SSC CPO exam is a national-level test conducted by SSC to select eligible candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2023
SSC CPO Paper 1 exam comprises four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each section carries a total of 50 questions. The paper comprises a total of 200 objective-type questions. The test paper is set in Hindi and English. The duration of the test is 2 hours. Each section of Paper 1 carries 50 marks. The total mark of the test is 200.
SSC CPO paper 2 exam comprises objective-type questions from English Language and Comprehension. There are 200 questions in the paper. Candidates need to complete the paper within 2 hours. Questions are designed to test the candidates' understanding and knowledge of English Language.
SSC CPO Syllabus
The syllabus of SSC CPO is given below:
General Intelligence and Reasoning: Questions are asked from analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding, and decoding, etc.
General Knowledge and General Awareness: The test include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research, etc.
Quantitative Aptitude: Questions are asked from whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds, etc.
English Comprehension: This section assesses a candidate's ability to understand basic English, Comprehension & Writing Ability.
