SSC MTS 2023 Notification: Why it is Delayed?

SSC MTS 2023 notification has been delayed because of the reasons best known to the Commission. It was scheduled to be released on June 14 but it was delayed. The Commission did not release the SSC MTS notification as per the scheduled dates. The Staff Selection Commission can release the SSC MTS 2023 notification at any time now. 

Reason for SSC MTS 2023 Notification Delay

The SSC MTS 2023 notification was expected on June 14. The SSC MTS 2023 applications were also scheduled to start with the release of official notification. The Commission provides a month to fill out the SSC MTS applications. 

The main reason for SSC MTS 2023 notification delay can be attributed to the change in the age calculation. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently changes the age cutoff date for the SSC CGL 2023 exam from January 1, 2023, to August 1, 2023, which increased the number of applicants in the exam. 

As per the last notification, the SSC MTS age limit is counted from January 1 of the exam year. The candidates can expect a change in the age cutoff date. Because even after various agitations against the change in the age cutoff date, the Commission did not change anything. The same can happen in the SSC MTS 2023 notification also. The Commission can change the official age calculation date to August 1 thereby increasing the number of eligible candidates to apply for the exam. 

How to Apply for the SSC MTS 2023 Exam?

The candidates will be able to apply for the SSC MTS 2023 exam after the activation of the official SSC MTS 2023 application link on its official website. The SSC registration number is required to fill out the SSC MTS application online. The candidates can see below the steps to apply for the SSC MTS 2023 exam:

• Log in to the official website of SSC - ssc.nic.in
• After login, the exam dashboard will appear on the screen
• Click on the Apply button
• Fill in all details asked in the application form such as:
• Educational Qualification
• Centre Choice for Computer-Based Exam (CBE)
• Click on the declaration at the end of the page
• Verify all the details provided in the online form
• Click on the Submit button

After submitting the SSC MTS application, the candidates will be required to pay the SSC MTS 2023 application fee as mentioned in the official notification.
