TN TRB Block Educational Officer recruitment 2019 notification released

A total of 97 vacancies have been announced for the post of Block Educational officer in the Elementary Education department.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

For the candidates belonging to backward classes, SC, ST, the maximum age limit is 57 years as on July 1, 2019. For the General category, candidates should not be more than 35 years of age.

Educational Qualifications

The candidate should possess the following qualification:

• Graduate degree (BA/BSc) with English, Tamil, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, History and Geography as the major subjects.
• The candidate should have a BEd degree from a recognized University.

Examination Scheme

The Online Computer-Based Examination will be of 3 hours with 150 MCQs in total.

Examination Fee

The general candidates will be required to pay Rs 500 as the examination fee. The students belonging to the SC, SCA, ST and PWD will have to pay Rs 250. The payment has to be made online through payment gateway (net banking/ credit card/ debit card).
