TNPSC Group 2 Exam Conducted With Some Delay

TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2023 was conducted today at 186 exam centres across the state. The TNPSC Group 2 Main exam was scheduled to be started at 9.30 AM but it was delayed at some centres. The reason for the delay was the change in the registration number of the Tamil Language paper which is qualifying.

The officials at some exam centres rectified the issue and started the paper with a little delay but at some centres, the paper was delayed by over half an hour. The candidates at such centres were given extra time to balance the delay at the start of the examination.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission released an explanation of the issue through a notice issue on February 25. The TNPSC said that the TNPSC Group 2 was conducted at 20 districts across the state, “The difference in the sequence of arrangement in attendance sheet order and the question booklet order caused a delay in distribution of question booklets to
the candidates.

The Commission allowed extra time for such exam centres. The TNPSC Group 2 exam will be conducted at the designated exam centres in the afternoon shift. The afternoon shift timing is 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.
