The UGC NET 2024 Provisional Answer Key for the December session has been released by the NTA on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in for the exam conducted from January 3 to January 27, 2025. The provisional answer key is released along with the question paper and recorded responses. Candidates who are not satisfied with the Answer key, may challenge the answer key by paying a fee of INR 200 per question challenged as a non refundable fee. The duration of UGC NET 2024 Provisional answer ley challenge is January 31 (from 6 PM) to February 3, 2025 (Up to 6 PM). As per the official notice the payment of the processing fee may be made through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI payment modes till February 3, 2025 up to 6 PM. No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The challenge will not be accepted through any other mode other than online.

  • Visit the official website of UGC NET 2024
  • Click on the link available for the answer key
  • Click on any one of the links: Through the application number and password or the application number and date of birth
  • Enter the application number, password/date of birth, and security pin (as shown on the screen)
  • Click on Sign In
  • Click on the Challenge Answer Key link
  • Select the correct answer option ID for the question ID for which the challenge needs to be made
  • Click on the 'Save Your Claims' button
  • Upload the supporting documents in a single PDF file to support your claim
  • Click on the ‘Save Your Claims & Pay Fee’ button
  • Pay INR 200 per question in the online mode

Accoding to the offiical notice released, challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of the subject experts. If the challenge of any of the candidate is found correct then the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer key of UGC NET exam for the December session result will be prepared and declared. Also, no individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.
