Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath insisted on conducting a single exam on a single day. He directed the Recruitment Commission to release the examination calendar on time

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a crucial meeting with the chairpersons of various Selection Commissions and senior government officials to expedite the selection process for vacant posts in multiple departments. The meeting, conducted at his official residence, emphasized the need for purity, transparency, and confidentiality in the selection examinations.

The Chief Minister called for comprehensive reforms in the selection processes and urged the commissions to adhere to strict timelines. He gathered information about the current selection processes and future plans, and discussed the commissions' expectations from the government.

In a significant move, CM Yogi Adityanath insisted on conducting a single exam on a single day. He directed the Recruitment Commission to release the examination calendar on time and ensure the coordination necessary for this streamlined process. "This process of necessary reform regarding the purity of examinations must be implemented immediately," he stated.

The Appointment and Personnel Department was instructed to liaise with the Selection Commissions to implement these reforms promptly. To simplify the appointment process, the system of e-adhiyachan has been introduced, and all departments are expected to use it. The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of thoroughly examining rules before sending requisitions for appointments to avoid unnecessary delays.

Key measures outlined by the Chief Minister included:

Having two or more paper sets in each shift.

Printing question papers of each set through different agencies to ensure integrity.

Organizing paper coding more effectively.

Deploying women personnel for conducting searches.

Keeping Selection Commissions in touch with top government officials and the Special Task Force (STF) before, during, and after the examinations to maintain purity and confidentiality.

As per a tweet shared by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s handle, the newly constituted Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission represents a major reform in the teacher selection process across primary, secondary, technical, and vocational educational institutions. The commission's members have been nominated, and the chairman's appointment will follow soon. The commission is expected to initiate the selection process on time.

The Chief Minister mandated that only government secondary schools, degree colleges, universities, polytechnics, engineering colleges, medical colleges, or reputed, well-equipped educational institutions with a clean track record should serve as examination centers. These centers must have CCTV and be located in urban areas, keeping the needs of women and disabled persons in mind.

Addressing discrepancies in educational qualifications for certain posts, CM Yogi Adityanath instructed the concerned departments to resolve these issues and provide accurate information to the commissions.

The UP government remains committed to protecting the interests of the youth. "Every youth's hard work, intelligence, and talent is respected. Anarchic activities like paper leaks or solver gangs will not be tolerated," emphasized the Chief Minister. He called for strict action against criminals involved in such activities and the implementation of stringent laws to curb these malpractices.

The meeting concluded with a firm resolution to ensure that all selection commissions release their recruitment examination calendars on time and strictly adhere to them to prevent any inconvenience to candidates.
