UP Police 2024 Exam Cancelled! Re-Exam Within 6 Months: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

UP CM Yogi Adityanath announced that the UP Police Paper 2024, which was conducted on February 17 and 18, has been cancelled due to paper leak allegations. The UP Police Re-Exam 2024 will be conducted by the UPPRPB within the next six months. 

UP CM Announced the Cancellation of UP Police Constable 2024 exam

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yog Adityanath, has confirmed on social media that the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment exam, which was conducted on February 17 and 18, has been cancelled due to paper leak allegations. The re-examination will be conducted within the next six months. However, the UP Police Re-Exam date for the examination is yet to be announced. Additionally, the state government has decided to investigate the UP Police exam paper leak case through a special task force (STF).

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had requested the candidates and the general public to submit their representation along with relevant evidence regarding the question paper leak. 

In a post on social media, Yogi Adityanath stated, "Orders have been given to cancel the UP Police Exam 2024 conducted for selection to the posts of Constables and to conduct a re-examination within the next six months. There can be no compromise with the sanctity of examinations. Those who play with the hard work of the youth will not be spared under any circumstances. Strictest action is certain to be taken against such unruly elements."

The state government stated that the decision to cancel the UP Police Paper 2024 was taken to maintain the highest standards of transparency. It also instructed officials to file an FIR against any level of negligence.

Over the course of the last three days, the Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested or detained as many as 244 people for allegedly using or planning to use unfair tactics in the police constable recruitment exam. According to a statement released by the state police headquarters, these arrests and detentions were made between February 15 and 6 pm on February 18, by both district police and units of the Special Task Force (STF) with the aid of local intelligence.
