UP Police Paper Leak: The Uttar Pradesh Police Constable exam scheduled for February 17 and 18, 2024 was cancelled following allegations of paper leaks. The UP Police Constable exam, which attracted nearly 4.8 million applicants competing for one of the 60,244 police constable positions, was subsequently cancelled. In a significant development, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) has taken decisive action in response to the paper leak incident of the UP Police Constable Recruitment exam.

In the wake of the UP police exam paper leak, the state government has blacklisted Edutest Solutions Private Limited, a company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, which was entrusted with conducting the exam. This decision comes amid growing concerns over the integrity of the UP Police recruitment process.

UP Police Recruitment Exam Paper Leak Investigation

The company blacklisted was responsible for conducting the UP Police Constable Recruitment exam. It subsequently subcontracted a logistics firm in Noida to deliver the exam papers. Reports indicate that the company inspected the warehouse of the transport firm. Acting on the instructions of Rajiv Nayan Mishra, Shubham Mandal recovered the recruitment papers from boxes stored in the warehouse.

The investigators have claimed that Edutest's Managing Director Vineet Arya has left the country. Despite receiving four summonses from the UP Police Special Task Force to provide a statement, he failed to appear before the authorities. Legal action against Edutest is expected due to their alleged role in the UP Police paper leak. Legal action against Edutest will be taken for their claimed involvement in the paper leak.

UP Police Exam Date Fake Notice Goes Viral

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that a revised date will be announced within six months. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotional Board (UP PRPB) will soon announce the re-exam date for UP Police Constable 2024. Last month, UPPRB addressed misinformation regarding the exam date for Uttar Pradesh Police Constable. A false notice circulating on social media claimed that the exam dates were June 29 and 30, 2024. The UPPRB clarified that it has not officially announced any dates for the exam.
