UPPSC UPPCS 2020 exam centre change option activated from August 1. Change your UPPSC 2020 exam centre.
UPPSC PCS 2020 exam will be conducted on October 11, 2020. The commission activated the UPPCS 2020 exam centre change window from September 1, 2020 and the candidates can change their exam centre choice till September 10. The UPPSC PCS 2020 exam will be conducted in nineteen districts of the state. Aligarh was not mentioned in the list of UPPSC PCS 2020 exam centres.

The UPPSC PCS 2020 exam was scheduled for April 21 but was postponed to October 11 because of the coronavirus pandemic. The UPPSC has provided this facility to change the UPPSC exam centre on the lines of UPSC.
How to change the UPPSC PCS 2020 exam centre?
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPPSC-uppsc.up.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘Submit the choice of the district for PCS/ACF/RFO (PRE) Exam 2020”
Step 3: Log in with the registration number, date of birth, gender and captcha code
Step 4: Enter the preference of the exam centre districts
Step 5: Submit the choice of exam centre for UPPCS 2020 exam
Step 6: Confirm the choice and exit
The UPPSC has provided this opportunity because of the coronavirus pandemic. There are only nineteen districts centres notified for the UPPSC PCS 2020 exam across the state while the state has seventy-five districts. The exam day will see a vast movement of candidates from other districts to the exam districts.

Because of the less number of exam districts, the majority of the candidates’ centre will be in another district and it will require the candidates to travel inter-district. Majority of the candidates cannot afford the private cabs. In the absence of this economic capacity, it will compel them to take public transport. This will expose them to the higher possibility of getting infected with COVID-19.
The number of districts in the UPPSC PCS 2020 exam should be increased because there is a looming danger of coronavirus and the present number of exam centre districts will expose them to a higher danger of getting infected.
