UPPSC Prelims result 2022 has been released online. The candidates can see the steps to check their UPPCS result list 2022 and the details about the expected UPPSC Cutoff 2022.
UPPSC Prelims result 2022 has been released online by the Commission on July 27. The UPPSC result list 2022 PDF contains the roll numbers of the selected candidates who were declared eligible for the main exam. UPPSC Prelims 2022 exam was conducted on June 12 as per the UPPCS exam calendar 2022 released on January 19. UPPSC PCS Pre result 2022 was expected last week but it was delayed. Some of the candidates are quoting on Social media that the Commission has committed over five questions from the UPPCS prelims exam 2022 exam because of the incorrect questions or answers or the correctness of multiple answers.
The Commission released the roll number of the candidates who are eligible to appear in the UPPSC Main exam 2022 which is scheduled to be conducted from September 27 to September 30. UPPSC Main timetable will be released later. As per the official UPPSC pre-result 2022 notice, 6,029,974 candidates applied online for the UPPSC exam 2022. Out of that, 3,29,310 candidates appeared in the UPPCS prelims exam 2022. The Commission declared 5,964 candidates eligible to appear in the main exam.

- Go to the ‘information bulletin’ given on the right-hand side
- Click on the UPPSC Prelims 2022 result link (which will be available after the release of the result)

UPPSC Prelims 2022 exam was conducted offline (pen and paper mode) across the state on June 12 in two sessions. The candidates shared that the paper was a bit more complicated in comparison to previous years and the expected cutoff will decrease. The Commission will release the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the eligible candidates. The candidates will be required to fill out the form online only and upload all the documents with DAF.
UPPSC Pre 2022 Expected Cutoff
UPPSC Pre cutoff will remain low because the paper was difficult for most of the candidates. UPPSC will release the cutoff after the completion of the selection process. These are only indicative numbers, the Commission will release the official cutoff later after the completion of the exam process.
UPPSC Prelims 2022 Exam Analysis
As per the candidates who appeared in the exam, the UPPCS prelims question paper was a bit difficult in comparison to the previous years. The average candidate could not attempt the questions from Ancient History. The questions asked from the Science and Technology section required a deep understanding of fundamental concepts. The UPPSC Prelims result 2022 was delayed due to the reason best known to the commission. The IAS prelims result was released on June 22.
UPPCS Vacancies 2022 Increased
UPPSC notified 250 vacancies in the official notification. But the number of candidates selected for the main exam shows that the number of vacancies has increased close to 400. We are saying this because as per the rules given in the official notification, the total number of candidates selected for the main exam shall be around fifteen times of the vacancies. The Commission has selected around six thousand candidates for the main exam which implies that the number of vacancies has been increased to 400.
What After UPPCS Prelims Result 2022?
The candidates who were declared selected for the main exam should start the UPPCS preparation (if not already started). The Commission will soon release the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the eligible candidates. The candidates need to log in and fill out the UPPSC main exam 2022 application form online. The candidates will be required to upload all of their documents required with DAF. UPPSC will also provide details about the post available to the candidates so that they can fill out the post-preference in the DAF. The post-wise vacancies will be released later by the Commission.
