UPSC 2023 Admit Card was released on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission - upsc.gov.in on May 8. The candidates should start revising the content they have and practice with the mock test papers and the previous year's question papers. The Commission will conduct the UPSC prelims 2023 on May 28 based on the syllabus and exam pattern mentioned in the official notification. UPSC admit card 2023 will be required at the examination centre to secure entry into the venue of the examination.

UPSC Admit Card 2023 Released: Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC admit card 2023 on its official website upsc.gov.in on May 8. The candidates can download their Civil Service (IAS) admit card 2023 from the official website - upsc.gov.in. The Commission also released the UPSC 2023 admit card on its online service platform upsconline.nic.in. The candidates should start consolidating their preparation by revising the existing study material they have. The UPSC ask the current affairs till the first week of May in the prelims exam. So it is time to limit the study material and revise it. 

UPSC will conduct the Civil Service Prelims on May 28 in offline mode. There will be two papers and the candidates will be required to appear and clear the cutoff of both papers.

The candidates can download their UPSC admit card 2023 in the manner shown below:

  • Visit the official website of UPSC - https://www.upsc.gov.in/
  • Click on the "Admit Card" section given on the right-hand side
  • Select the Civil Service Preliminary (IAS) Exam 2023
  • Enter the registration number and password
  • The UPSC admit card 2023 will appear on the screen, check all the details mentioned on it
  • Download and print the admit card

How to download UPSC 2023 admit card without a Registration Number?

The candidates should not worry if in case they forget their registration number. The candidates can see below the process to regenerate their UPSC registration number.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC - upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the Admit Card link available on the Home page

Step 3: Read the instructions given on the page and click on the Yes button.

Step 4: Click on the link, "Forgot RID'

Step 5: Enter the following details:

  • Name
  • Father's name
  • Mother's name
  • Date of birth
  • Captcha code as shown on the screen

Step 6: Click on Submit.

On clicking the button, a registration ID will be re-generated.

Photo-Identity Proofs Required with UPSC Admit Card 2023

The candidates will be required to carry the same photo identity proof whose number was mentioned in the UPSC application form. The candidates will be required to produce the same at the time of examination because its number will be mentioned on the UPSC admit card.

    UPSC 2023 Admit Card: Instructions Released for IAS Exam

    The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the instructions for the UPSC exam. The candidates were required to read and affirm that they have read the instructions before downloading their admit card. Some of the important instructions released by UPSC are as follows:

    • The candidature of the candidates is purely provisional till the recommendation phase.
    • It will be mandatory to carry the UPSC admit card 2023 to the exam centre
    • Candidates will be responsible for the safe custody of the UPSC admit card 
    • The candidates should note that any omission/ mistake/ discrepancy in encoding/filling in details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.
    • The candidates should note that the entry to the examination centre will close ten minutes before the commencement of examination that is 9.20 for the morning session and 2.20 for the after ni=oon session.
    • Answers marked in the OMR sheet other than those marked by Black Ball Point Pen will not be evaluated.
    • Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-Admit Card will have to bring a photo identify proof and two passport size photographs one for each Session for appearing in the Examination with an undertaking.
