IAS Topper 2020 - Pradeep Singh all India rank 1

The IAS Topper Pradeep Singh hails from Tewri village, near Sonipat, Haryana. He is a son of former village Sarpanch Sukhbir Singh. Pradeep had cleared the UPSC civil services exam last year also and under training as an Indian Revenue Service Officer in National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) in Faridabad, Haryana. Pradeep has appeared in the UPSC four times and last year he had secured 260th rank in the exam.

“It is like a dream come true. It is a pleasant surprise for me. I always wanted to be an IAS officer. I would like to work for the deprived sections of society,” Singh told PTI on phone from his home in Sonipat.

IAS Topper 2020 - Jatin Kishore all India rank 2

Jatin Kishore lives in New Delhi. He secured All India Rank 2 in the IAS exam 2019. His father is a government servant. Second-rank holder Kishore is a 2018-batch officer of Indian Economic Service (IES) and posted as Assistant Director in the Ministry of Rural Development. “It was my second attempt in the civil services examination. I am happy to have got the second rank”, he told PTI.

For IAS Prelims, he suggested, the candidates should attempt a high number of questions up to from 100 questions. He suggests a repeated revision is the key to success in the IAS exam. Also, the candidates should focus on Current Affairs.  He suggests almost all the books and best strategy is available online now and the candidates can do the IAS preparation at their own place and there is no need to come and stay in Delhi. 

He thanked his parents for his success in the Civil Services Exam.

IAS Topper 2020 - Pratibha Verma all India rank 3

Pratibha Verma secured rank 3 among all. She is the topper among the female category. She is a B Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She hails from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Pratibha Verma is an officer of Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax). “I was inspired, by the way, IAS officers act as the first responder at the time of any crisis. They are always on the frontline at the time of a difficult situation. That is why I decided to prepare again for the exam (after getting selected in the IRS)”, she said. It was her third Attempt. She was working in Vodafone before coming to Delhi.

Pratibha Verma secured 489th rank in the civil services exam 2018.

IAS Topper 2020 - Jeydev CS all Indian rank 5

C S Jeydev achieved All India Rank 5 in the IAS Exam 2019. He is from Kerala.
