UPSC Result 2020 was declared on September 24. Shubham Kumar secured rank 1 in the Civil Service Exam 2020. In the female category, Jagruti Awasthi topped the IAS exam 2020. She stood at rank 2 in the overall result. Ankita Jain stood third in the UPSC exam 2020. UPSC released the Civil Service Exam 2020 Result online only. A copy of the UPSC result 2020 is pasted on the notice board at the UPSC building in New Delhi. As per the UPSC result notice, the number of vacancies in the UPSC 2020 exam was increased to 836.

UPSC also mentioned that it will maintain a consolidated reserve list of 150 candidates. Sister of former IAS Topper Tina Dabi, Ria Dabi secured 15th rank in the overall list of UPSC toppers. UPSC recommended 761 candidates for different All-India and Civil Services Group A and B. The Ministry of Personnel will proceed to appoint these selected candidates.
UPSC 2021 Prelims will be conducted on October 10. The candidates who are selected for IAS and the service of their first choice are prohibited from appearing in the IAS 2021 exam.
